Scout got this treatment a few times a day after the little ninny froze his feet at the waterer. <sigh> Goofy Scout! He loved this and the warmed "spa towel" he got afterwards. I liked the candle lid because although it LOOKS in the photo like his feet are touching the bottom, they are actually just a tiny bit above it so the Epsom Salt water could bathe them all the way around. Candle lids, teacups...it's all about re-inventing as need dictates, huh?

This little 2 1/2 week old cockerel immediately knew what that long tube I just put in was for.

Sadly life has been crazy since hatch day. So I haven't gotten any good pictures.

So here's the few I do have that aren't red tinted from the heat lamp.

Super happy we successfully hatched chicks at all since we planned a broody hen to sit them and a day before the eggs arrived she gave up and we had to buy an incubator.

Then screwed up our humidity the last day and lost half our chicks. Thankfully we got the 5 we have.
