Today was the first day I let my chicks out in their newly built enclosure. They have been in their coop for about a week because they just got too big to be in the house anymore! When I opened the coop door they all just kinda looked out and didn't want to move; except for one of my barred rocks. She just ran right out and faceplanted on the ground. It is a 3 foot drop! Now she's acting quite weird. She keeps picking at her neck and she's holding her head odd, her beak is close to her neck like a J shape. When she gets to picking,she has her head tucked under and she backs up real quick and bumps into things. Otherwise she seems normal. She'll peck and eat and flap around just like the rest when she's not having one of her "attacks" I'm confused and worried. Right now she's back in the house away from the others so I can keep an eye on her. Any help/advice you guys have would be wonderful
Mabel is one of my favorites. She thinks my lap is the perfect perch. I'll make sure to get her electrolytes but I wish there was more I could do....
