we haven't secured it to the concrete. But we plan to do some spray foam insulation along the bottom.
You can secure the coop with a "Hilti", or anchor bolts, you need to drill holes into bottom plate of coop into concrete, with a masonary bit and hammer drill, then drive in anchor bolts with small sledge or BFH. You can use the expandable foam or some type of caulking, to seal the bottom edge of plate. If you have the exterior edge running right along concrete rain will not puddle in, if you don't,seal exterior bottom edge along cement to keep rain water from puddling in the coop area.......

It's funny that this never occurred to me, that the building would need to be secured to the foundation! My DH mentioned it this evening before I could ask him about it.. He's concerned about high winds and the direction it's sitting.. We will be securing it soon! then the sealer to keep water out.. There is a 2 ft lip of concrete on one side so I'm sure rain will run under eventually.
