These birds are probably the breed in highest demand each spring. They are a good dual purpose bird, great layers of big brown eggs and just a nice friendly bird. Mine are great at free ranging and seem to enjoy it immensely. This line of birds is from a local breeder that since sold the flock. They are also good broodies on occasion.
