9 CROWING HENS!!!!

In addition to the two white cockerels, at least 3 of the others appear to be cockerels. :oops: Individual pictures would help in gender ID.

There are a lot of cockerels in that photo... :hmm
I’ve always had cockerels very well defined by 16 weeks. We got all of our chickens as chicks right from the delivery truck. The two white ones were crowing and frills very well defined by 12 weeks. So Are the others cockerels that are under developed or could they be over developed hens?
 
I have a two year old barred Rock hen who lays regularly that just recently started crowing. :barnie It does happen.

But even without the first pic being clear, I'm also pretty sure there were a few more cockerels than stated. But all the pics are too far off or dark for me to make out saddle feathers.

Yes, there will be hormonal aging differences between the different breeds as well as individuals. :pop

In the third picture, the three birds in the center are all cockerels. The bantam cockerels are just developing more slowly than the leghorns which mature very early.
so these three are also cockerels?
