I’ve always had cockerels very well defined by 16 weeks. We got all of our chickens as chicks right from the delivery truck. The two white ones were crowing and frills very well defined by 12 weeks. So Are the others cockerels that are under developed or could they be over developed hens?There are a lot of cockerels in that photo...![]()

so these three are also cockerels?In the third picture, the three birds in the center are all cockerels. The bantam cockerels are just developing more slowly than the leghorns which mature very early.
