9 month old Splash Orp slowed down egg production...should I worry?

So we've had a very cold winter here in WI, and my first winter with chickens. We only had one chicken lay thru this winter and that was Chicken Little (my son's splash orpington, I know she's huge). But now Chicken Little is about 9-10 months old and she hasn't molted yet. Also her egg production has slowed down. Would it be possible that she is going to go into molt in February? Do chickens do that? Or could there be something else going on?

She sure could be getting ready for molt she has been a very busy girl and indeed deserving of a quick break.

I agree, I just didn't know if they would go into molt this time of year or not. But I suppose I had one in full molt in December so why not!
