My favorite spitzhauben. I’m thinking it’s a pullet. It’s about 9 weeks old now. It’s a bully and has pushed around some of my older brahmas That are 13 weeks. So that behavior led to me think it was a Roo but it just seems To look girly. I’m going to keep it regardless because it loves me and climbs on my lap. I call it Cleopatra for now.

I have 19 chicks that just turned 1 month old. The smallest on the 19 I'm now sure is a cockerel, he's the most timid of them all. Most of the 18 pullets are braver, they peck my hand when I go to pick them up to clean their brooder, and I've seen them stare down and chest bump. My cockerel's tail, feather pattern and coloration is a bit different than the pullets, and he already have the beginning of wattles. Your look like a pullet. See if you can guess which chick in the photo is the male.
