I have a question for the OP. How do you keep you carpet so clean with chickens running around in there? I can't seem to coop train mine, they leave huge droppings everywhere!

I have noticed that her neck feathers have a sheen to them and they have for a while....l didn't think that spurs would be coming in this early...I have pullets that I KNOW are hens and they have more nubs than the boys...does anyone else have a guess? PLEASE????!!!!????!!!!????!!!

i would have to say girl she just doesn't look like a boy to me my grandfather had a hen and he called her momma rooster because she had a big red comb like that too

She looks like a manly hen to me. (but I am a complete newb) I have a pullet who looks a bit rooster-like but I think it's because she's a production red? Either way it's a hen and she looks just like that but mines a few shades darker.
