9 wk chicks with head feathers? What breed?

Hello! I have posted some pics of my 9 week old chicks. Mom is for sure a Rhode Island Red x white leghorn and I posted a photo of her. But dad was a neighbour roo who came to our property and so we don’t know his exact breed but the neighbours said he was a barred rock. I don’t have any photos of him right now but will post one if I find one. The chicks are multicoloured and some of the females have these funny head feathers! I though they were just part of the process of them developing real feathers and would go away but maybe I’m wrong? Let me know if you think the head feathers will stick around or go away and what breed(s) you think might be causing the head feathers

They are mixes. Cute little mixed breed chicks.

I think they will keep their quirky head feathers.

Somebody has a crested breed in their background. Could be cream crested legbar... that's one of the more common mixes right now when making EE.

Agree most likely some cream leg bar in there somewhere. They are just so stinkin’ adorable! Love your photos.
