Our 9 year old pet house chicken has started pooping a clear chalky looking poop. She has done this 3 times this morning and there is quite a bit each time. Does anyone know what is causing this

Pictures of the poop and hen would be a great help.

I've already cleaned up the fresh poop. The photo on the Left is a pic of dried over night and the right is a new pic of Red

She eats a mixture of bird seed. Mostly millet. We used compressed logs in our wood stove. Sometimes I see her pecking around in that.
Oh boy, you've been feeding her this her whole life? That is not a balanced diet and puts her a a high risk for diseases. She's very likely deficient in lots of nutrients, I'm suprised that you haven't seen any symptoms sooner. You need to switch her to a commercial chicken feed ASAP. Purina is cheep and usually readily available. I bet you'll see a lot fo improvement after switching feed.

Thanks! She used to eat chicken feed until we brought her in the house several years ago when something killed all the other chickens. I will switch her over again.
