911 chick help!!!

i found an egg under our cochin hen and the egg is broken on one side and that chick is still peeping and i need to know what to do?...i have the egg/chick in the bator with eggs that should start hatching today and the bator has freash water....i need help!!!!!!!

Is the egg that is cracked due to hatch today? Or is it less along in incubation? From what I've read here, it should be fine in the incubator, you just need to make sure the membrane stays moist.

Hopefully that helps...if not, at least you got a little bump

Is there any blood? I have read where some people use wax to seal a crack...you might do a quick search and see what you can find on it.

its is a little less but should hacht in a day or two the chick is still peeping.hold on i will go check
