[Ember Lily]

Ember got up after a while, she headed down closer to the water, she sat down on the grass and removed her boots, easing her feet into the water, it wasn't really cold, the sun was shining on that lake, keeping it from its usual cold temperatures, and it was warm that day too, she laid back on the grass, staring at the clouds.

nick looked up and and smiled at lillian

The leaves crunched beneath their feet as they walked through the forest. They soon reached a lake.

"We're here!" Lillian said to Nicole and Benjamin.

Derla roared excitedly, she jumped into the lake.

Benjamin laughed, he jumped in after Derla.

Frederick jumped into the lake, followed by Fleck and Avie.

Shannon laughed, then she jumped in.

Arcei continued to snore.

[Ember Lily]

Ember looked at the dragon and some people jumping into the water, she smiled, some water droplets got on her, but she didn't mind, it would dry quickly, the water rippled for hundreds of feet, she watched them play, Ashe came back to her then, walking up to her and nuzzling her, he sounded like he was growling angrily, but really he was laughing, Ember sat up and Ashe arched his neck up, Ember scratched his neck and chin, and he vibrated approvingly, then she laid back down on the ground, and Ashe put his head next to hers, he watched the dragon and humans, but Ember continued to watch the clouds, they we're peaceful to her.

Fleck flicked water on Frederick. Shannon laughed loudly.

Frederick shook the water out of his green hair, he grinned. Avie flew out of the water and landed on the soft grass, she laid down and let the sun dry her delicate wings.

 

[Ember Lily]

After a while she sat up and looked at Ashe, "Its about time we head back." She said smiling at him, He nodded in agreement, she really didn't want to go, but she knew should, so she got up and got on Ashe's back, she strapped her legs in, Ashe got up slowly, then he spread his wings and with a few strokes was airborne, not happy with leaving just as it was, Ashe dived towards the water, then he turned on his side, the tip of his wing skimmed water and Ember laughed, "You can't just get up and leave, you always have to get attention!" she scolded him playfully, but then they took off, flying back to the stables, he landed in his stable, and Ember unstrapped her legs and got off, She unstrapped his saddle and took it off, Ashe stretched gracefully without the saddle restraining him. Then he settled down and laid down, Going outside of the stable with a bucket she filled it at a Water pump, then she took it back to Ashe who drank gratefully, then she refilled it again and he drank more, then she refilled it a third time, and she got a rag from a shelf by the saddle, then she sat by Ashe and dipped the rag in water, then she started cleaning the dirt and grime off his scales, He had been to the mud hole again she knew, and she smiled, he began to softly sing, it drifted out into the streets where several people stopped to listen, Ashe occasionally shifted when she was finished cleaning one part, She scrubbed into the evening, when she was finished she got up and dumped the water down a hole, it lead directly to the sewers, then she kissed Ashe on the head and bade him goodnight, she headed back to her room to have a bath and retire for the evening.

Ember slowly drifted off to sleep, she was tired from her long day, and she was glad to finally relax for a while, Ashe was in his stable, humming a song, he paced a little, finally he rolled over and looked at the roof of the stable, then he rolled over again and curled up, going to sleep, Ember's dream we're happy and full of fun, She was riding on Ashe, doing tricks, they we're free, alone, and happy, not being restricted by anything or anyone, she dreamed that she could see her parents again, and she slept happy that night.
