Time for a serious post.
Sorry about all the fun & games but all work & no play makes em-connie a dull gal.
If you raise livestock full time like me, and can't have a little fun... It becomes a Job. Jobs are not always fun. At least when shoveling fecal is involved.

Any who.. If you were able to follow any of my jibberish, I set 6 eggs for other BYC Members. On the day I placed them in the oven, Mr. Farmer walks in and places a olive green egg into the LG9200.
It was collected out of one of our breeder houses. Red-Blue Splash Wyandottes are in that particular housing. They lay medium sized lite-brown eggs. So I named the Egg "Mystery". Posted that fact and Ron replied:
:old
The shell color comes from a genetic mutation that makes the shell blue. The coating of brown makes the egg look green.

If you are getting blue egg shell genetics, then there is Araucana or cream legbar in there (Cream legbar has the same gene--came from south america)
(YAY RON!:clap)

Today I pulled a cleaning maintenance in that house. I found another large Olive color egg..
So after investigation of the second mystery egg I found the culprit!
One of my 8 month old total free rangers got in there somehow. Probably during a night feeding about 4-5 days ago.

So of a gun! She is blending in with the splashes. Her leg band traces back to a hatch by my Pure White Easter Egger crossed with a Full RI Red Roo.
Cleaver girl. I will leave her in there for a few days because she was using a hidden nest somewhere and now at least I am getting 1 egg a day out of her. Their are two males in there. So DH's egg might be fertile?

READY FOR MORE SERIOUSNESS?
Don't get use to it!:wee

My contribution to the hatch a long. Photo taken just prior to this almost too serious posting TODAY.
See the Olive egg on the right side? Kinda weird. Her mother layed light blue eggs. She died from a Bumble Foot treatment a while back. She had a seizure after a penicillin injection. So this egg layer is her legacy. I hope it hatches.
I told you I can be serious sometimes!:woot

I hope it hatches too!

her leg color is correct for EE but I do not see a beard under the chin. Does she have a pea comb?

I bet she lays a lot of eggs!

She is Ferrel. Hard to get close. Tonight I'll have Hub snatch her during dormancy and get a closer look.. Photos possibly.
Crap, 2 serious posts in a row... my bad.:rant
