Clyde beat his wings, slowly at first, then building speed before settling back down into the water and shaking his tail happily. "Oi, mate! Whots up?"
(Meh, I don't care who. Whoever's by the lake, I guess.)

Silver fin yawned and looked at the sun. "Holy smokes, it's late!" She stood up slowly, and headed outside her cave. "Rainfeather, why didn't you wake me up?"
Rainfeather's butt went down and his head went up "Wha? Oh, Hey Silverfin." He too glanced at the sun. "Oh, you're up late."
She rolled her eyes. "Yes. I noticed." She turned around as she heard duck parting water.
Rainfeather saw his sister shrink back and fluff up, and sighed internally. He turned around and was about to tell whoever it was to back off when he saw blue and night. "Oh, hey fellas. Whats up?"
Silverfin went back into the cave.

Chipmunk flapped his wings, which showered water in Pebble's face. Pebble glared at her brother, even though she couldn't see him. "A warning would be nice," she grumbled.
"Oh. Did I hit you? Oops, sorry,"
Pebbled sighed. "Of course you didn't," she said sarcastically. "a rain cloud materialized in front of me."
"I said sorry," protested Chipmunk.
Pebble flicked water at her brother. Chipmunk retaliated by throwing a glop of algae at her.

"Eh, everything's normal here." He glanced at the cave, spotting a flash of grey duck tail disappearing." He sighed. "Sisters are complicated."
"Well," he reared his beak up, "I have just survived an encounter with a human."
