I actually was just talking to a chicken friend and she said the same thing about him being lonely. I really only have coop space for one more so i didn't want to get two but I asked her if she would take to other bird if I got another and she said maybe so I'm thinking on it.

That's much better if she can do it, if not you might be able to get another chick anyways and then sell it on Craigslist.

I'd hate to get another bird and then her decide she doesn't want it and end up with an overcrowded chicken house. I'll probably buy a dollargeneral stuffed animal for it to snuggle and play some low music in the room with the incubator so it's not just in silence

That works to, my dog is 7 years old and she sometimes hugs her stuffed toys while she sleeps!

My dog destroys every toy we buy her... The only thing that has lasted is a nylabone that she found (I'm assuming she stole it from a neighbor dog). I checked in them in the store... $16 for the durn thing... I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

Ya lol innocent thieves. I asked both neighbors on either side of us if it came from them and to their credit they were honest and said no. So she got to keep her find lol

OMG! This is perfect!

I came home last night to discover that my dogs had destroyed two rolls of paper towels and found the sausage casings I had just purchased to making homemade sausage for the first time. *Sigh* The store we bought the casings from is an hour away. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer to make that sausage. (Bad dogs! Bad!)
