I can't wait to get my chicken things figured out and get some eggs from him and his sisters. A super fluffy Biele line would be so awesome!

Funny story:
The only other "live" package I received lately was an order of Giant Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. (I'm a sci teacher, & well, that usually explains many of the crazy stories & situations we have here.) Anyway, the package was sent to the wrong distribution center & like you, all I could do was read the latest location updates. They arrived 2 days late, but the seller sent many "extras." Thankfully the number of living insects was about what I had ordered, so the "extras" helped keep the survivors alive. Of course the humorous part is that at one point my cockroaches were marked "out for delivery" but still in the wrong zip code. Can you imagine some poor elderly woman opening my package? Not only does the box hiss, but it's filled with giant 4" cockroaches!

That farm in BC Canada...I received an email from them as well saying they won't be doing exporting until fall. Also, the Silver Biels are listed as sold only straight run???? Clearly whatever they did they lost the auto sexing in it! Maybe I don't want Silver ones after all. I really love the "original" look anyway.

With auto sexing breeds they will still sell some as straight run, it just means you would get 50/50 of each gender. It's worth checking out though if they lost it.

I don't know what kind of experience you e had, but, mine has been polar opposite. There was a replacement Marans from an old order (total generous surprise), two extra Swedish flower hens in the first place, and there was insurance ($100) on the package, they took out, coming... Sorry you haven't had good luck. I love them.

They should still have some auto sexing, probably they just don't want to be stuck with hundreds of males...just guessing ?

I have never ordered from them, but have had associates & friends order from them, and some had had problems.
But it happens with all hatcheries.
Some replace, some do not, they just figure it is out of their control once the chicks leave their place, and it is not their responsibility to replace them.
