I'm predicting some extra large eggs and good layers. Different colors but very similar crossing to what I did. Let us know the egg size, once they have been laying for a bit. Oh and buy the way, I like them!

I hatched about 40 of this same cross out for a lady who wanted egg layers and she loves them. The same sex links as yours and a Bielefelder Rooster.

I haven't been keeping track of who is laying. All of them stopped a few weeks ago and I quit paying attention.

Which egg is my Bielefelders? I have two young hens, hatched 27 April 2016 and both have laid eggs. I caught Little B checking out the nesting box but when I came back there were two new small eggs. One is a nice light brown/tan and the other a light brown with speckles. My second young hen is a White Marans with black/blue splash.
Eggs from left to right (bottom row) dark brown, lighter with speckles, two from17 month old Buff Orppingtons, and White marble "training" egg.

I'm not sure who's laying the new eggs! Any guesses?

Logically speaking, Marans probably laid the darker small egg (BCM lay dark eggs, soo??), and because my Biels frequently lay lightly speckled eggs
,, than perhaps that's who laid yours. Not sure my young Biel hens laid speckled though, but the older ones frequently do.
