A Bielefelder Thread !

Mine are so spoiled rotten !
They also LOVE JAZZ !
They hang out under the window of the barn where I play KPLU Jazz station (PBS) and they kinda stay there.

I have found the radio left on 24/7 keeps the terrestrial predators away.
I guess the mink & raccons think there is people there talking.
IDK, but it works, and the birds love Jazz.
I think they like the "Waite Waite don't tell me" PBS game show too !

My uncle had a thoroughbred that had to have the radio on, and this horse would bob his head to the music.
Guess music does soothe...................

I should give it a try. I also want to try to post few pictures on the brooder/coop when to chick 1st hatch and see if they are friendlier to human when older.

My neighbor does that too and also swears by it. No jazz though. Their chickens, goats outdoor dog and many, many cats seem to prefer classic rock.

Does the radio really work. I'm afraid of the bear attacking my flock again. If I put a radio on at night do you think it will keep bears away or attract them.
