A Bielefelder Thread !

I ended up with that problem with the top roost and how everyone was trying to fight over it. I ended up making 4 roosts that are the same height coming from the wall that has about 12-16 inches spacing. Then I made the normal ladder type roosts coming off of them. I now have no problem with chickens fighting or pooping on each other and they all use the top roosts..

They're so sweet with they're sharp little toes grasping my arm!

LOL! I know what you mean. Those little nails are sharp! If they weren't so darn cute and lovable there's no way I'd have let all of my chicks scar me for life....LOL!

They're so irresistable! Titus is pretty at ease and fell asleep perched on my arm really quickly but the Cochin is much more cautious of me. I think her name is gonna be Yeti bug until I'm sure she's a girl and staying in not gonna commit to a name.

So cute..... I just got 4 new Bielefelders from Feels Right Farm! I now have a small flock.... very small about 6 inches high. 1 Cockerel and 6 pullets.

Best I could do! It rained all day!

Loving my new babies. There is such a difference in size between the young cockerel and my smallest pullet. I wonder if it's the diff of a couple days hatch difference??
