A Bielefelder Thread !

Wondering if anyone can post some pics of their chicks that are around one month old? That's how old my Bielefelders are today, and I'm just trying to get a feel for their size and colouring. I think I might have a few in my lot that are a different breed - which would be fine! lol And believe it or not, I'm actually having a hard time telling how many males vs females I have (even though I know they should be super easy to sex - definitely a first time chicken owner here!) Thanks in advance for any help! (I'm hoping to take pictures and post them tonight!)

Thank you both so much for the fantastic pictures! I definitely have a few chicks that do NOT look like either the pullet or cockerel... I'm thinking I'll email the breeder and ask if he put in a few surprise chicks for me (I ordered 12 and got 16, 4 extra) And will take pics of my chicks tonight of all my chicks.

Yes.... he is. These babies are now 28 weeks. They are big and gorgeous. I had to laugh when I looked out the window at him now and him in this pic. I will post some more. I have babies about 1 month old, I will try to get some pics of them today. I rehomed 4 males at one week old and only kept the pullets. I have 7 one month old pullets. Very cute!

I need to take pictures of them now. The 28 week olds are so beautiful. They turn an amazing orange color. They really are gorgeous birds.
