I love it! The "Mine Chicken"!!!! Here's to a new/old/varied breed!!!!!!

I got to get me one of those "MINE" Chickens!!! Whose selling "MINE" Chickens?

DS picked out a "MINE" chicken. After watching his sister care for and name all her chickens, he chose one from our brooder for himself. He kept saying, "This one's MINE." (Meaning not belonging to his sister.) She is a very patient hen who actually enjoys following him around.

This pic will be a classic and belongs in a chicken Hall of Fame somewhere! That's a Lavender? I don't know many large fowl breeds but is she a Marans? I love spoiled chickens!

That lav orp has climbed trees, gone on bike rides, went on a play date, & likes to get pulled around in the wagon. I can't understand why she puts up with all that. She acts like a dog & runs up to greet him wanting to play. I guess she knows he loves her.

Embarrassed to admit, but our chickens sometimes get to visit inside to watch TV or read a book.

We bring our black bantam orp inside sometimes to clean up crumbs under the table. She's as good as a dog!

LOL We joke that our dogs' only purpose is to clean up drops & spills. If we let the chickens do that the dogs would be out of work!
