It is... My Sulmtaler are younger are are starting to lay eggs... but going thru this thread I have read several times 28 weeks for a first egg. So I guess that is normal.Wow! 28 weeks is late! Mine are still very little. They are just love birds!
So, I forgot the coop open during the night, and he started crowing since 6 am. I started having a criminal mind by imagining him in a cone Otherwise, he crows few time trough the day, mostly in the morning, but I don’t think is very loud. I will try to tighten his Velcro a bit more. I like him but I don’t want to upset my neighbors as I also have ducks and of course my backyard flock is larger than what should be.I have a rooster that is 11 weeks old. He is my baby! He hasn’t tried to crow yet. We are not allowed roosters but I’m not going to get rid of him, he is too precious to me. Sweetest bird I have ever had. Does yours crow a lot?
