A Bird Swap Meet Every Week! For Central KY

Who do you contact to get on The Bluegrass Poultry Association mailing list?

I usually try to make it to the Bullitt County Swap Meet thingy at least once a month, sometimes there are some cool things there...I keep hoping to run into a Redwood incubator there but so far no luck..

Turbo, contact Oscar Bailey. His contact info is in another thread about Ky that I made.

Edit: Didnt spell contact right, lol!

Hi Casey,

I'm just down the bottom of the mountain from Crossville, TN. Could you tell me when the swap/sale is there? I haven't been up to the fleamarket there for a few years.

Thanks!

Dawn

Skip has tomorrow off (he usually works 6 days a week), maybe we'll leather up and ride the Harley up there to check it out. If we take the bike, I can't bring anything home...I think he'll like that idea!

Welcome Dewey! I wish I could go this weekend, but I have to work. I have a few birds to sell, but don't want to ship.

If anyone is interested I have 2 self blue oeg cockerels, a pair of wheaten/blue wheaten ameraucanas (could make a trio), a partridge silkie cockerel, a buff laced polish cockerel, a w/c blue polish cockerel, a w/c black polish cockerel, and a pair of partridge cochins. All are bantams. In standard I have a w/c black polish cockerel. I can't be at the sale early. I don't get of work until 2:00 pm. But I am not very far. I am on Bardstown Road at Hurtsbourne. If interested, you can pick them up there.

Hey Casey my mom and dad are from Russell Springs, I have alot of family that still live in that area. All though I am starting to think that everyone with the last name Foley or Godby can trace their roots to Russell County. I think my Uncle Noel use to be on the city counsil there too.

I am still trying to get a contact email addy or phone number for the Bluegrass Poulty Shows...

I am in Kansas and we are planning a visit to Louisville in Dec. Is this the same Auction place that has the horse auctions? I used to live in Louisville (LOVED IT) but here I am.

Wonder if I can sneek something home in the trunk....JK

Tonya,
It's the same place as the horse sale. The poultry is in the parking lot down by the far gate. Are you coming in for a Christmas visit? And do you have horses also?
