I'm lying in bed watching TV. My daughter comes to the door and says, "There's a big, ugly spider in the bathroom and I can't poop!" Then after I kill it she calls me "the liberator of colons". Where have I gone wrong?

In other news, the first of my pullets started laying yesterday. She's very dramatic about it. Her egg is the green one. The other is from Ethel, one of the hens @BlueBaby gave me.

She's not laying at the moment. 'Tis the season! Ethel's egg is from before she started moulting. I actually had to BUY eggs this week.

Oh yes, this molting thing. Feather's, feather's everywhere! I'm still getting egg's through because I have different age group's out there. I already have a dozen egg's for this week sitting on the counter. This batch of egg's that should be hatching on Saturday should have pullet's that start laying egg's by April.
