Personality: wise, kind. Absolutely ancient, this old healer has the skill in crystal of the healers of Marea. His abilities may never be replicated, and in his old age may soon be lost. He could probably stretch his life in crystal at least a decade more though. Spends much time in the caves of crystal.Respiratory issues. He lives alone, and doesn't live with the rest of the tribe. They come to him. But he would probably not care if someone from another tribe came for help. He's a bit lonely and eccentric you see...
Description: Used to be gorgeous probably, but now he has ripped pale wings, a wrinkled scarred face, and white eyes. Strange crystals hang from strings of hide on his neck.
History: Once an eager young healing student, he took no interest in the fights and play of the young boys around him, locking himself away in a cave with his "studies." When he left, he realized those boys were gone, grown up, and so was his childhood. He looks back on this in utter dismay now. Gone also was his family, as he aged. In his ripe old age the others his age died. But still he remained, never leaving his beloved crystal caves behind.

To make him look shaggy, maybe just add some fur texture in a few places.
Overall very nice work, both on the character design and on the reference pic. I actually really like this. He has a lot of character, and the colors work well together. He's very cat-like in appearance, and his eyes reflect his personality well. Well done.

Wai thank you.
The background isn't gorgeous, but someone like him deserves more than a white background because he "glows in the dark." I decided to draw the shadows in the line art and I like how it looks.
