Everyone, meet Trixie! She is a 1 year old lionhead bunny who is just starting to grow her fluff around her head. Here's her story..... as a baby, she was sold to a pet store to be resold there, but nobody wanted her because she has a leg problem. Her back leg twists outward in a odd way, and was taken to the vet by the pet store. The vet said it was not broken or sprained, and caused her no pain, it just was limp and had no feeling. So, after a month at the pet store, was given back to her old owners, and soon her old owners got way to busy and decided to give her to a new family..... which was us! We always... well, almost always, end up with unwanted, special needs pets!! And I love it.
For now, until her outdoor hutch is built, she is staying inside on our 3 season porch in a old guinea pig cage.

She is a major love bug, loves to sit in your lap and be patted.
Luna, my Rat terrier mix has gotten used to hamsters and chickens, but rabbits? Isn't that the animal she chases outside? Its confusing to her, but i just keep saying, "Be nice to trixie Luna, she's our bunny." and she'll back away, but will watch her for several minutes, growling sometimes.
So, A.C.F. Rescue now has.... 1 dog, 5 chickens, 3 hamsters. 3 fish and a rabbit! Life is good!
