Fiesty, I'm sure Big Bird is disappointed.

Its 17 here this morning. And Saturday it was 73. Suposed to be in the 60's for Christmas. Weird weather even for us.

Romeo is just beside himself with excitement today. I decided to let him out to free range with the crazy escaping girls. Not only can Adam not get to him to harass him but he actually got to nate one of the palm girls. He is so excited now! I know Adam is going to be hard on him tonight when he goes back in but he's thrilled right now

There was actualy a lot less friction than I expected when I put him back in the coop. Adam was too focused on me :/ I'm never happy about butchering, but I dealt can't wait till my girls start laying again so I can hatch out a replacement for him. He's turned in to such a monster! Romeo is still the perfect gentleman though. He came right to me, game me a big hug and let me carry him in to the run/coop for the night lol

17 again this morning. I know, nothing compared to most of you. The point is that its going to be close to 70 on Christmas day. Our weird weather continues.

My chickens don't seem to enjoy the cold. But my turkeys apparently love it! They've both been silly. Hopping & twirling. Either they're thinging about starting to lay, or Santa coming. They've been so playful. Funny birds!

It is 31 degrees here!! That is above zero! I am ecstatic! 60 degrees warmer than 2 days ago.
