A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Just noticed how hideously cold it is up north. Hope everyone is staying warm!

I am not staying warm!! Would you mind bringing me a few blankies..tucking me in, making me some hot chocolate and fluffingmy pillow so I can survive this?

BTW please feed and water the birds while you are here too...

Aurora may be willing to make turtlenecks and puffer jackets for your wee divas, but she’ll need measurements of course... and custom work... well, it doesn’t happen overnight ya know. Plan ahead, Mother Memphis. :p

I wonder how well that would go over? Last time I attempted to put something around a turkey's neck, she freaked out! (First saddle attempt on Sweet Pea)

Aurora, was wondering what was going on with the MIL. Was afraid to ask. At least it's for only a week! I still think you need to set up a broader wherever shes sleeping!! Good luck!

Fairly warm & sunny today & tomorrow. Then the bottom falls out Monday evening. I hate it for the turkeys...although, I know they will be fine. And I dont think they mind the cold. But I still want to bundle them up. I also literally have to drag this coonhound out the door when it gets cold. He got another possum the other night. Heard him chopping. The possum was backed into a corner. Nothing but teeth. I could tell he wasn't sure how to approach it. Tried to grab him to take him inside. Heck with that....it caused him to go straight in. Sigh....

It is windy and snowy and ICKY here today. :rant Technically it’s 30... really nice for winter, but that wind! Even my woolly woolly cows are huddled in their cozy shed. Chickens were all on their roosts when I brought their food. They didn’t know it was morning, I guess. One of them managed to knock over their waterer last night. Loads of wet bedding, but I’ve got lots of bedding. I just hope they didn’t burn out the bucket deicer. They’re staying inside the coop today, too. So am I, mostly, but I’ve got cabin fever.
