A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Aurora. ..that's beautiful! Baking for me can be tramatic!

Ralph that is awesome! So interesting. Post what you find out. Your grandfather's collection sounds quite interesting.

A friend posted this story on the Surviving Minnesota thread. I wanted to share it with you.

I looked the arrowhead up, it is called a Burroughs point. It is not suppose to be here, it is in Mo. KS and NE and southern Ia.

I sent pictures to some archaeologist place. I am so wanting to know more about it. My wife and I were talking this is something someone could have made 10,000 year ago! The thought is mind boggling.

Aurora - that is a delicious looking pie! You have way more talent than I do - the kitchen and I do NOT get along. I'm quite happy to use my oven for storage, it's safer for everyone that way :)

Ralph - that is so neat, I can't wait to hear what else you find out about the arrowhead! That is a great turkey story, it's funny how people assume big birds are not friendly. They have obviously never met our turkeys

Thank you! I like to bake but I've never been able to make a good pie crust before. I've always hated cooking though. (BIG difference between baking and cooking lol) For the longest time, my husband did all the cooking and I did the cleaning. Then I got to quit working but had to learn to cook :/ I still do not enjoy cooking but if I don't have to work, I guess it's a fair tradeoff.
