A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

What size ladder does everyone use to collect their turkey egg?

I have been using an 16 ft ladder, but I feel unsafe reaching into some of the nests.

I am thinking 18 might be better....I don’t have a 20 fr ladder...

I do have a 32ft extension ladder. I am not sure if that is over kill or not..

suggestions?

I am a tall 5foot 1 inch or a short 5 foot 2inch, take your pick? so everything here is designed to be easily accessable from my height. that means that if you are any taller you will hit your head going through my coop doors but it also means that ALL nesting potentials are on the ground.

Dux lay eggs ground level.
Just sayin.
All the Better to squish the eggs at..

My turkeys idea of the perfect nest..
