Morning . Another cloudy day here , Chance of morning showers . Sunshine is scarce . So here schools . church . restaurants only take out , no sports and large events/gatherings closed .

Yeah, I'm off today lol. I meant in general. They're not closing walmart anytime soon.

So I will share what I know about viruses . In chickens I finally have zero tolerance for sick birds . If it gets sick I cull . The reason being a recovered bird is a carrier . You can not kill a virus in the body . The immune system makes it go dormant . So under stress / lower immune system it activates and infects new hosts . Same with humans and all animals . So this corona is here to stay . We are buying time to get a handle on it . A vaccine will be developed . The recovered people will get it again when the immune system is low . Old age , cancer or other disease challenges . We will survive this as a species . There will be deaths as with all diseases . Panic does not help anything .

School is cancelled here for the next 2 weeks at least. My kids practically did a jig upon hearing this. Quarantine doesn't affect us grownups much, because my husband rarely leaves the house besides doctor visits and maybe a weekly something doing.
