It can depend on how the Red Bronze was made. Crossing a Bourbon Red with a Bronze will make a Red Bronze that is bb CC Rr and should have full pronounced wing barring. It will look slightly different than @Bantambird 's Red Bronze that is bb1 Ccg Rr but both are Red Bronzes.

I may have one here but since she is wild, she is not planning on cooperating with a close up wing inspection.

I am pretty sure that neither are native but both have been transplanted here.

The problem here is that there is a lot of mixing with domestic birds. I know for a fact that the red color gene got introduced to the local population shortly after the G&F released a flock down by the river that is 3 miles away.

It didn't take long for a hen to find my place and get acquainted with my Bourbon Red tom.

I beleave I have read something on a pocket of Hybrid turkeys in north eastern Wyoming.

Montana has mirriam's and eastern turkeys. Someone apparently released easterns in flathead valley in the fifties and they took off. It's mirriam's everywhere else, introduced by fish wildlife and parks 60 years ago
