Yes that would seem to be best and easiest way to get water on big propertiesI had a well drilled and ran my own lines to water with.
Sounds like you have your own slice of heaven with different ecosystems.Where I live was a sagebrush and cactus sand dune when I bought it. The upper area is now tree filled and lush green grass. You can create your own mini ecosystem.
So far this year I have less than 2" of water and most of that is from snow melt.
That would be very nice turkeys do love the pastures like most animals. We are planning on creating a pasture with green grass and nice trees on the northeast part of our property, problem is is that we have no water hook ups over there so we would have to get water over there somehow.
I beleave your talking about the Red penciled Palms , Red Palms. They are so pretty! What is the variety that is more of a caramel tan color?
Is that what they are? I never knew there are so many varieties of turkeys!I beleave your talking about the Red penciled Palms , Red Palms.
I have seen that already in my 8 turkeys they all look so different but the mommy and dad are the same so you would think that they would look the same but nope! Here is my thread and some pics of my turkeys!Yes there are so many I couldn't list them all. Many crosses can produce 10 or more varieties in same clutch of eggs hatching different varieties at same time.
