A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I'm visiting my sister in Nebraska and today I've finished Birdy separation quarantine and get to walk her commercial barns. It's exciting to see the difference between the big guys and me in person, maybe I can learn something! So much automation in the industrial meat poultry. She contracts with Smart Chicken.
Nice avatar. And that so cool!

Miss Molly has decided that she does not like the heat. I find her like this, I swear, every time I go outside! I did put a small tub of water in the back, outside in the run for her so she can stop getting mud all through the drinking water and stop tipping it over but so far, she just keeps going here. She'll stay in the one outside of I put her there but once she gets out, she goes back to this one lol

What variety is she, She looks sweetgrass with some penciling? She is defiantly loving that water dish. Love the looks your getting from her, first one she looks like oh no you caught me again. And last one looks like she's saying don't you dare move me out of here LOL.

Something semi-penciled with the red gene and possibly the Narragansett gene too is more likely as @OneMountainAcres does have the red gene and the Narragansett gene in her flock.

This is not a turkey but I'm sharing this video because she is so close to my heart and I can't wait for her to get better so she can come back to work with me. She loves trucking 🚚..

Molly is a penciled mutt from my mixed flock. Last year, toms were Mottled black, Tri colored penciled blue palm, and penciled fall fire. Possible hens were bourbon red, bourbon buff, royal palm, penciled fall fire, red bronze, and Pebbles who was from a narri cross and looks like a bronze
