A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Aurora - that's 58 eggs  Even if they don't all hatch, that's still a lot of fluffy babies! Annnnd, I'm pretty sure that won't be the last action that your incubator sees this year ;)

Heck no! Definitely won't be the last action my bator sees! As soon as I have more free space in it, more eggs are going in ;)

Feisty, what a sweet hen. I hope they hatch before your trip.

Aurora, how many Adam babies are you expecting? Are you selling them as poults?

There are 22 Adam eggs in there right now but of course, this is a test run to test fertility :) more will go in as soon as more space is available. I tossed two clear chicken eggs the other day and have 3 more that will be going into lockdown next week which frees up another 5 spaces for me to fill up. Hopefully, by then, I'll be able to see if any Adam eggs are developing and I can weed out the clears and add even more lol. And yes, the plan is to sell most of them as poults. I'll be taking a guess and hoping to get 2 little boys to raise up for next year. I already picked a name for one. Since I have Pebbles, one will be Bam-Bam lol

I have my incubator (one of them) up and running, I am trying to get the temps to stabilize before I put the creamette eggs in it.

It is running a tad cool now. Babies in a few weeks then I can start serious bating!

8 Midget White poults hatched on Monday. Cute little things, I need to get some pics to post here. Yesterday I collected a dozen turkey eggs, 6 MW's and 6 from the Mottled Black / Royal Palm pen. The chickens are stepping up too, the cabinet incubator will be full soon, I better hurry and get the new one built . . .

Yes, I think I am insane.

We definitely need to see baby pictures soon, poults are so adorable! You're going to be knee-deep in babies :D

You guys are definitely testing my willpower - I want an incubator now!
