I think hers go in lockdown today, mine go to the hatcher as soon as it gets dark so I can candle when I move them..(Fingers crossed for a good hatch...)

Just got in from relocating Big Bird to the chicken side of the barn - so far, so good. Moved her first thing this morning, and then spent the next few hours puttering in the barn talking to her. She's afraid of Bessie with her purple head Hopefully she'll figure out that she's 3x the size of Bessie eventually. The rest of the girls have been good so far, checked her out and moved on to the dirt bath. I'll keep checking throughout the day to make sure that Bessie doesn't freak her out too badly. On the upside - nice, clean barn this morning
