I know those "not happy" sounds.

I saw the look on Holm's face when he heard Ethel, it was a "Ralphie has a duck" look. But he know what I feel about webbed footed critters.... She does have an opinion, on everything. I would love to let her run free, but there are just too many predators this year.

Hey look! My first ever turkey egg is pipping!



That's from Poppyseed, my Sweetgrass. She laid her first egg and then no more for over a week, so I set the lone egg in the incubator and put chicken eggs with it for mentors. It's due today, so I am very pleased at this point.

(I have set her and Muffin's subsequent eggs (8 of them) in my other incubator, due on May 1st.)

I can hear this poult cheeping!

I have my 2nd set on lockdown. Only 4 have hopes for 3 of them. One was internal pipped this morning.

Got home from work.

2 early turkey babies found their wings a flew out of the brooder.

Finally found them hiding in the basement.

2 of my 3 in the hatcher are out. 3rd is pipped. The 2 are palm pure.

My ebay bator made it. It is a 1588 genesis. But the old style that's just preset. But if it works gonna be happy irregardless.
