A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I have a question that will show my newbie turkey status im sure, but here goes anyway. I gave 3 royal palm poults along with my mystery bronze, my question is, do palms come in solid white? I have one without any black markings at all. Shes lovely, but i was just curious. I got them from a local backyard breeder. Unknown if he keeps others too.
Again, sorry if thid is foolish, but ive not seen the information anywhere so I figured i'd come to tbe experts here. Thank you!

Yes, they come in all white at first. You'll be excited when you finally see that black coming in, I know I was lol. I raised my first palms this year too and was very confused for a while.

I think my girls are done laying too. I was only getting 1 egg sporadically over the last two weeks and none for the last 4 days.

I did, I even asked the WWD " Is there a turkey hiding behind me?"...

It was outside the coop this morning and ticked off at me! It yelled and clicked and squawked at me. It appears in her mind I locked her outside in the 3 1/2 inch wind laden storm we had. She was drenched. One not happy turkey, I bet she is on time for lock up tonight.

We found a nest of 4 Guinea eggs yesterday. they hide them so well....

I am wondering if you have new Holland whites or midget whites mixed in. The royal palms should not be pure white. as far as I know, Cluckylady.

JJ is looking so pathetic right now. The molt always hits him hard. I am thinking The third Tom might be a guest of Honor at T-day dinner. I have enough babies coming up plus Mr T, someday.

DUH, I was not thinking Poults.... Yea Poults are all white for about a month then the black comes in........ I was thinking you had adult birds.

They are about 2.5 months old. Two out of three have black markings, one a little, one a lot, one not at all. Thats why i was confused lol. Shes judt the oddball. Shes a sweetie tho, and too pretty for words.
Thank you all for your replies, I knew i could count on you!

Not a. Very good pic,but herrs the trio, white is far right.

Most likely, the one with a lot of black is a tom and the all white one, a hen. She should start showing a little black very soon. I know with Princess and Queenie, I was concerned that they would be all white too but then, I saw little bits of black coming in on Princess's back here and there. Queenie colored in a bit faster or at least it seemed likenit but she's younger. Now, both look like a typical palm hens imo.

Princess when the black was just starting to show

Queenie when she was still mostly white

The girls now

She may just end up having a lot less black on her too, never know.
