I believthe view from the roof made them realize there is more to the world than their backyard! . Did Adam go these turkey strolls too? Is there a ringleader? Or lead belly button?

I found a turkey egg in their nest today! I suspect Daisy. What the heck?

Aurora - Glad you were able to get another vehicle quickly! Turkeys can be such pains sometimes - It would have scared the daylights out of me to hear mine on the roof, and I can just picture trying to round them up now that they've figured out all the cool places they can go

I know Fiesty, I haven't seen an egg in several weeks. I thought they were on break! I'm not lighting their coop. Don't know what they are doing!

My hen started doing that too! I have four eggs in the incubater!

But heck, a turkey egg here and there helps make up for the lack of eggs from my free loading, slacker, molting hens!

Hope Ralphie takes advantage of Nashville ' s hat & boot shops! They have some great ones! His turkeys will freak if he shows up in cowboy boots instead of flip flops & socks! And a big 'ole cowboy hat will set them all off!

They're all being belly buttons together and yes, Adam follows his ladies everywhere. Never know when one will lay down for him lol. I was walking down the road to get them and Adam started gobbling like crazy and paving back and forth across the road in front of me. Not sure if that was a warning or what but he ran from me as soon as I got to them. Eve was the only one to come greet me but not till I was like 10 feet away.I ended up carrying her back to the house. She kept squatting for me and WOULD NOT MOVE!

Thanks Fiesty. I'm hoping it runs good for us. We run our cars hard and this one has like 160k miles on it. I've heard subaru engines run good for upwards of 300k miles so we'll see. We had limited funds and trucks were just too much.

No, my hen is probably nuts, Lol. She's a good hen, and pretty a reddish color all over, her brother seems to have the pox, should I separate him? Probably but I wonder if the others have it yet.... Oh well( sigh)

I remember when my bourbon red squatted for me ( and then Mr. Belly Button arrived!) she was so cute!!!!!! I think the bourbon red and Mr.Belly Button are now enemies!
