I'm just going to sit back and watch lol. I do know that the first person's guess can't be right. That makes a red bronze.

I am wondering if he has Narragansett in him which would make him the Bourbon buff brown if not I am saying jersey buff,, which is what I guessed on the porter FB page.

I don't believe that Adam is a pure Bourbon Red. He definitely is not one that I would choose for breeding purposes. I have seen far too many turkeys which do not fit the standard being sold as pure Bourbon Reds and people continue breeding them and passing them off as Bourbon Reds.

This was my second Bourbon Red tom. My third had even more white on his tail feathers.

who was left at our farm at work. Today I was given another hen turkey who will hopefully keep Mabel company. The new one is Penny; she is a heritage-style bird we think.

No offense please, but better pictures would help. The second one is some kind of red you can see the difference in the breast between the two. Maybe a jersey buff, just based on the amount of white on its back, BUT I am NOT even close most the time.

I was reading that white on Penny's back as a reflection. Better pictures will help. Glad you found a friend for Mabel.

Well, on the egg situation, I stepped in to help these two babies that were peeping. They're both almost out. None of the other eggs are doing anything as of yet. I'm about to set another 38 turkey eggs too. That will make...79 Turkey eggs total in the bator lol. Oh they better sell fast!

Ralph he said he is a Calico turkey and if I breed him to a Raoyal palm hen I will get half royal palm and half Calico turkeys!
