I'm back home and defrosting slowly - started peeling layers off when I landed at the airport and by the time I got home I was down to a reasonable amount of clothing again I had forgotten what "real cold" felt like....and I think I don't need a reminder again for several years (I was north of Montana).

Ralph - sorry about your rooster! Have you figured out what the culprit was yet?

I'm curious what a black winged bourbon gene is. Does anyone know what that means??
