For me the price was a no brainer when faced with the minimum order numbers and the cost of shipping. Truthfully, my OCD kicked in. Once I started thinking about getting some, I couldn't NOT get them.

You should have gotten them from me then. All my turkey poults are made just for people with OCD..

They all have 2 legs. two eyes. two wings two ears. One hole at each end of the body to perfectly balance them. The beaks come in 2 pieces a lower and upper again for balance.

We even go the extra mile here and make sure there is an even number of feathers on them so as to not throw off the balance.

One of the people that came to buy my extra pullets wanted to buy some of my poults too. I am not sure what to charge for them really, as most of the poults are actually palm(hen) burbon red(Tom) crosses. A few are pure burbon red. They want all the poults I can sell!

I've sold mine for $10 each all season and had a waiting list for a while. But the season is dying down now so I've been offering them for less lately.

Memphis - good luck tomorrow and hope you have a speedy recovery!

Ralph - awesome that your momma bird accepted the babies :). You'll have to post some more of Ethel with her baby jailbirds.

JR - I'm glad George is hanging in there.

Bantam - your babies are super cute :D

Coco is still in solitary, she seems to have started eating more and I'm cautiously hopeful that she's going to put some pounds back on. Her noises are sounding less like "let me back in my nest" and more like regular turkey peeps. I'm going to keep her away from nest boxes until I'm convinced that she's done brooding though - she sat for way too long for me to trust her near nesting material for a little bit (and lord help me if she sees an egg before she's done thinking about babies ).

Ok, I need some advise. I have a hen that hatched babies on May 5. She was one of 3 hens and the other 2 didn't like her, so they've been chasing her off. But all 3 hens have raised the (now) 18 babies. But she apparently didn't have the mother experience she was looking for, because she started laying eggs and thinking about sitting again when the babies were about 2 weeks old. She's stuck with the job, though, until today. I knew she was hiding eggs somewhere, but the weeds are hip high in the pasture, so I didn't have much hope of finding them. I haven't moved my tom over with those hens yet, so the eggs aren't fertile. Well, she didn't come in tonight, so I went looking, without much confidence that I'd find her. Only took about 10 minutes and a God given miracle, but I found her and carried her back to the coop. I have 3 eggs in the incubator that are due to hatch on July 5. I intend to set her up in a covered ex-pen with a nest box in the morning. I'll give her the infertile eggs, that I've marked. Do you think it would be too soon to give her those eggs? One day short of 2 weeks, if she goes to sitting right away.
