Oh...had my first appointment with the surgeon. Geez. Plates above & below elbow. Lots of screws & such. But the good news is he let me ditch the cast for a fully radial brace! All due to my weirdly high tolerance for pain. 80 staples came out. Guy fileted my arm like a fish.

Wow - 80 staples out, sounds like progress! Hope you have speedy healing.

Thanks for the well wishes folks. Hanging with my girls is a huge stress reliever. What is it about Bourbon Reds....Annie spent an hour inspecting the new brace. Daisy checked it out and was good. But you could just see Annie trying to figure the whole thing out.

Seriously I hope you get better soon. I also have a high tolerance for pain. I once got a sliver and hardly even cried!

We think this is a male. Has black bar on long tail feathers.

This is the other one. Smaller than the other and lighter color. Tail is shorter and no bar line on tail feathers.
