A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

X2 on the dinosaur run! Had two soaking wet turkeys last night. They decided to play in the misters. The chickens stay on the fringe of the mist. Not really getting wet. But i found the turkeys preening & fluffing right under the mist. Such funny birds.

Oh man, we get the cold winters too. More ice than snow usually, since we are semi arid here. Luckily we occasionally get a Chinook wind in the winter, a warm wind that blows in for a few days. We bask in the 30 degree weather, then it's back to 20 to 30 below. It's worse in Minnesota, what with all that humidity, and I am very sure most years you guys get more snow even though we are along the same meridian.

We often get weather in the 90s/100 here in semi-arid Eastern WA. It's dry here though. I would NEVER live in a humid place which includes 3/4 of the U.S. Good luck! Hoping for winter, too.

Blech. I'm fine with winter coming later. I like going to the park, picnics, swimming, all the fun summer things that winter ruins. I guess we could still go to the park, but we can sled in our own backyard. I guess we COULD go skijoring... always great for a laugh.
