A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Ralph...the youngsters look good. But LOVE, LOVE the pictures of the ladies onthe deck. They are beautiful!

I taught my older turkeys to stay off of the deck. They in turn teach the youngsters to stay off of the deck.

Herein lies the problem, I encourage the turkeys to visit me on the deck, the WWD does not like me or them when they do. She is just so unreasonable....

I bet you women are wishing you could be married to me too.

Ralph - Love the pics - they are so pretty, and so many colors!! What color is Snitch? JJ is such a gorgeous bird.

Countrygirl - such little cuties, have you gotten any closer to determining if you have a boy in the bunch??

Yikes, I am soaked through. I just spent a few hours rounding up everything outside that could take off in high winds. We are expecting 2 potential severe wind/water events between now and Sunday. The first is supposed to hit us anytime with winds up to 60 mph and 3-8 inches of rain. They say that the second may or may not hit us on Saturday and could be worse if it does. We'll see....sometimes they're right and sometimes they're not. So I've tied everything down, will fuel the generator and the birds will stay in their runs for a few days. Those are going to be some grouchy birds until I turn them loose in a few days :D

My two hens just follow me everywhere. Then i go behind them with the hose. However, they aren't as messy as my chickens.

Went out too hang with the girls & wore a new pair of tennis shoes. Caused lots of consternation between the turkeys. Chickens could care less. Turkeys had to eyeball them for 20 minutes and beak them. Guess they approved. They finally shrugged their feathers & headed to the dust bath spa.

My turkeys are always very suspicious of any new attire. I've given up and just wear the same flannel jacket over everything so that they don't feel the need to examine me too closely :D. The boys had issues the day I wore red gloves while scraping out their area - holy cow, who knew? Fashion critics....all of them

Didn't your girls take issue with a visitor wearing a hat?
