A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Nice looking birds Holm!!!

I moved turkeys today. Some of them anyways. I picked 2 blues, Snitch and my old Blue and 1 self blue and gave them a self blue Tom. Number 3 on the pecking order. He was happy. JJ was not.

I have 3 bronze hens I with my Bronze Tom now. None of them are happy. They fought me the whole way.

My Royal Palms were separated so all I have left to do is pull out the blacks. I have one self blue, that has tiny eyes, she did not make the breeding rotation, I am thinking of sending her on the bus to camp. Along with a few extra Toms.

I have to decide what to do with JJ Jr. The late bloomer. He is such a good looking guy I hate to just invite him to dinner....

I wasn't planning on breeding the RP's. Let me rephrase that.. Wasn't planning on incubating the RPs. Thing is I have a serious mental problem when it comes to empty incubators and PILES OF EGGS

Holm, the girls look great! Has Mr. T made a move on them yet?

Save JJ Jr....Ralph! Better yet, lets see some pictures!!

Spring has hit early here. So much in bloom! Especially the magnolias.

It's finally warmish in Montana. That means nothing to how summer might go, but I like a green spring! Because of how dry it is, things can be hard to predict here sometimes... We can get freak snowstorms in summer, and temperature extremes can fluctuate 100°F in a few hours!

My first poults hatch next Thursday! And a buyer already stopped in for chicks to preorder 15 olive eggers from crossing my cream legbars and Marans. 10 bucks a chick? Yes please! Both sides are happy and excited, I get to hatch chicks, they get to buy them! I'll wait to put up an add till I know how many babies I'm going to have! How much do I charge for burbon and bronze poults?
