A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Hey, do any of you guys on here with speckled Sussex ever ship fertile eggs? I've been thinking of bidding on some on eBay, but I'd trust you guys on here better, what with how awesome and friendly you are all saying your SS are.

I got no rooster. But I sure love my SS. My old girl lays about every other day at seven years old.

Jr. doesn't look too upset Ralphie. He's got potential!!

I've come to the conclusion Daisy likes little kids. She has her little six year old buddy down the street but yesterday a friend brought her two granddaughters over & Daisy let them pet & hug all over her. They sat down on the deck steps & she pushed in between them & just let them fuss with her. Annie is a bit more standoff-ish...but had to eventually go inspect their shoes.

The last of Thursday's poults have moved out! I have people asking me though if I'll be hatching more or incubating more and when I'll have more lol. Poults won't be hatching again for another 2 weeks.

I kicked my Toms out of the Blue and Bronze pens today. They were agitating the hens, I think. The constant fighting through the fence with the other toms and the constant strutting was driving me nuts it had to be bothering them. I will put Toms back in, in a couple weeks.

Beautiful pics R2elk.

I got a turkey pic today too... But it was just proof that my turkeys are finally breeding
