R2Elk please keep us posted on the pheasants. I've considered getting some,but the horror stories of aggression have stayed my wallet. So far.....
This was a wild bird that showed up one winter. He stuck around until a fawn almost landed on him when it jumped the fence.I've eaten pheasant. Totally agree....wonderful!
I know nothing about them....I do go look at some of the pics posted here and boy they can be beautiful birds. The same with the peas! Love the pictures they post over there. All are lovely birds....
Totally agree.I must say that a pheasant properly dressed without shot pellets in it is absolutely delicious.
