Micah, I'm already looking forward to the baby pictures!

Ralph, why do you want to get rid of your guineas because of your neighbors chickens? Do they want to go visit them?

My guineas do not stay home they like to visit. My neighbor has no biosecurity. I need to get rid of my guineas for my own biosecurity needs.

And I want Pheasants.

You folks are a bad influence... you got me thinking about that small game plucker...

I just posted this on another thread...I have this one and I love it, no pin feathers at all left on the bird and 15 seconds to do 2 birds.

Memphis . I forgot to add I have Guineas for tick control, if they are going to do that they need to free range. If they can't free range because of neighbors chickens, I have no use for them.

Been awhile been way to busy here this winter... not even Gardening season Doh!

I ended up keeping 4 hens and 2 tom Narragasetts from last year. 2 hens who set nests and 2 of their daughters from last year. 1 of my older toms, and 1 born last year... unfortunately they are all siblings +... So this year When I put in my Cackle surprize box order for birds I added 4 Narragasetts to that list... I know hatchery birds are hit or miss. Anyone have input on their turkeys? Otherwise I'm also wanting to try and order 6 more from somewhere else, or worst case scenario hatching eggs. (I have exhausted my search locally within' driveability distance and found nothing that pretty much isn't related to my own birds already of the quality I want)

I also ordered threw our feed store 4 BB whites to compare end of season. Not size lol but taste/quality ect.

Hope you've all had a good winter! And can't wait to see all the poults! Btw, anyone in WI laying yet? My boys are starting their dance but the girls aren't laying, hopefully next month... we've had an odd winter though!
